你可以从最初男人的讲话、他们关于艺术品讨论中看出来男人（们）的那种未被现实中琐事麻烦过的、理想的、思考，和女人（们）现实、市侩且俗气的观点和表达方式。因为男人只需要关注他们自己的事情就行了，孩子缠住不放烦的是妈妈，要带孩子上学的是妈妈，打电话找的人是妈妈。男人呢，只站在窗前看外面街道上走过的一对奇怪的上学路上的母子，然后进行一番他那伟大的哲思，然后写出一本的书，就可以了。不仅如此，所有与陌生人的交涉都是女人进行的，所有的麻烦都是女人兜着的，所有的这些精神消耗都是女人去耗的，男人只需要被女人哄着，只需要沉默着站在远处观看，只需要发脾气抱怨红酒难喝，然后就能得到关注。

All I see, is how the women are pushed in to a situation where they have no choice but to be hysterical and sometimes ridiculous, and no one including herself realized what has caused her problem. All I care, is how can no single person care what Binoche’s character feels and what she's been experiencing. Anyone cares about her feelings sees the root of the problem, but unfortunately, no one seems to care.

Of course it's all about human beings. Men are the default version of human beings, physically and mentally. As for the other kind of people that account for half of the world population? They are just a different type of men and it doesn't matter.
