Last night I watched the the movie "Jane", a documentary sounds a little boring, as I am not the type of person who is interested in chimpanzees. Not to mention that Jane is a pefect figure to demonstrate feminism, and the producer actually exploited it. "No man is not waivable", the words are put in the climactic phase of the movie, which makes those sleepy audience full of enthusiasm.

Personally I prefer to look at Jane's life outside of the gender-opposite perspective, as her insight and courage shall be admired across both men and women. Although the movie intentionally skips over the trauma part of her research as well as her marriage in order to portray an indipendent and liberating female figure, the tranquility and confidence flow from her eyes (and her classic chivalry and elegance) still catchs my breath, which never appeared in any ones' face around me. It occurs to me that her life wisdom and pure courage rises from her passion and determination, instead of books or any metaphisical thought. It is grounded on practical life, not philosophical reflection. I believe there are numorous people live like her, though their wisdom differs from each other, and that is exactly the drive of me to learn philosophy and psychoanalysis.

In summary, it is a good movie, probably the best of the year in my list. Jane's illustration touched me in an unexpected manner, something beyond words and expression.
