a prairie home companion, 我现在每周六下午开车在路上还会听到。this is a very liberal programm from a very liberal state of the U.S. (minnesota). If you want to understand the movie, you have to know the significance of this live radio show. It almost felt an encore for Robert Altman, by playing a tribute to other similar (overlooked) artists of his time.
我觉得这是美国去年前10的电影，可惜这样的小品与电台节目一样，观众都是老头老太为主了吧。Also, It is much better than The Company, another work by him, although both have similar theme.
Near the end when the crew met at a diner on an eerie night, the scene closely resembled "Nighthawks", the painting by Edward Hopper. This was such a quite gem.
