Would be better if it focuses on minor points and relate less to this touchy period (as the film doesn’t actually grab the dilemma HK faced after the handover). Jeremy Irons is good, nevertheless. I like the cinematographic language with video angle which makes the character’s identity unstable. A good sample for urban cinematics study on the postcolonial HK.
