Plot Summary:After a rapist, Ray Schenkel, is released on parole, the detective that caught him, Dorsey, is sure that he'll revert to his old ways. When a rape occurs in New York, Dorsey talks to Stabler at the scene and convinces him that Schenkel was the perp. While investigating Schenkel, Stabler runs into him at the parole officer's office. He convinces Ray that he's a fellow parolee, and talks the PO into letting him into the group therapy session so that he can keep an eye on Ray. Stabler starts getting more deeply involved in Ray's new life, seeing if he's reformed or not, crossing the line between simple surveilence and entrapment on the way.
