Plot Summary:The first episode ,'The Neighbour', a likeable young couple move into a new flat below a gentleman who has just murdered his wife. Argento cronie Luigi Cozzi directs. The second, 'The Tram', is the only episode officially directed by Argento himself, a whodunnit set aboard a crowded tram. The third, 'Eyewitness', tells of a nice young girl who witnesses a murder only for the body and all trace of the crime to have vanished upon returning with the police. The fourth episode 'The Doll' is credited to director Roberto Pariante but Argento apparently extensively re-shot it, features an escaped mental patient stalking young women through the streets of Rome. Directed by Mario Foglietti, although Luigi Cozzi directed some scenes. Last feature is a documentary on Argento produced in the late 80's to promote 'Opera'.
1973年以达里奥·阿金图为首拍摄了四部恐怖题材的电视短片《天黑请开门》，且每集均以一段达里奥的口述访谈作为开场。这四部作品虽然都是以犯罪，凶杀为主的传统题材，但是在拍摄风格，以及气氛渲染上已经颇具意大利后期的“Giallo”风格，是非常具有时代意义的恐怖题材的电视作品。
