Plot Summary:Two guards are patrolling their respective sides of the border. When the hat of one falls unto the side of the other, the latter does not let him retrieve it. The two men then start exchanging views about what the world would be like if borders did not exist. They come to the conclusion that those lines that separate men artificially do not make any sense. They nevertheless start patrolling again as if they had never conversed at all.
