Plot Summary:Lisbeth is worried because her daughter Fanny, who is studying in Italy, has not answered the phone for days. Has something happened to her? The Munich officer travels spontaneously to Urbino and on the one hand is relieved because Fanny is fine. But there is still cause for concern: Your daughter is madly in love with the attractive law student Luca. At dinner with his family, he solemnly announces the marriage plans. For Lisbeth, she has not been able to speak well to men since her divorce, the purest bad news. Lucas' arrogant mother, Carla, who was hoping for a better match for her spoiled offspring, can hardly hide her horror. The young couple senses their mothers' displeasure and runs away. Carla suspects the two of them are with Luca's grandmother, who as mayor is allowed to perform weddings. Lisbeth and Carla can't smell each other, but to prevent the lightning wedding they have to pull together. On an adventurous odyssey through the Italian provinces, the women have very special personal experiences: Carla's perfect facade begins to crumble, and wallflower Lisbeth discovers in the face of the charming policeman Marco that there are also nice men. With all of her exciting experiences, one question comes to the fore: Is your children's wedding really such a catastrophe? And if so - for whom?
