剧情介绍
故事以二战期间美日之间的战争为背景，讲述了美国空军飞行员在战争的一系列英勇表现，因为上司实行诱敌战略，而不能跟日军交战，求战心切的美国海军飞行员变得十分沮丧，更糟的是飞行员们接受性格苛刻强硬的指挥官的领导，最终飞行员克服一切苦难，参加了中途岛之战……An aircraft carrier is sent on a decoy mission around the Pacific, with orders to avoid combat, thus lulling Japanese alertness before the battle of Midway. All the men have their individual worries and concerns, but become increasingly frustrated at their avoidance of combat, for reasons unknown to them. But in the end, all get their chance to fight.
